Hope everyones doing ok, not tooo bad, was wondering if anyone knows other sites

like craigslist for posting jobs, i need a site thats just as good and gets alot of traffic thats free..

im in Brooklyn ny bayridge, does anyone know of any one needing a caregiver in my area?

and does anyone the latest update about tier 5 unepmployment?, so far its still the same

at least for NewYork nothing yet saying maybe the end of this Month or begining of June...

 Everyone i hope u know that yr entitled to foodstamps if on unemployment even if yr working 

you can still get foodstamps if u make under a certain amount and definetly check out what other services u can get such as health insurance and assitence if u need it!!!

Im haning in ther and managing the best that i can, i know it gets depressing and there are days i dont feel like waking up, but hey it passes and then im grateful for another sunrise i got to see, so keep thinking positive!!!................Later Dee fm Brooklyn    

Hi im DawnMarie 48 yrs old from Brooklyn NewYork i share my living space with a beautiful white cat named Mr Mugsy....Im here because like alot of u, im also struggling and i know it hard at times to keep positive and have faith... Im on Public Assistence and thank God for Food stamps and the health benefits....So i know what it feels like to get cut off notices for bills and be behind in rent!!! ive had to give the simple everyday things that most people take for granted such as cable tv, at first it was very hard not having cable, and just having basic lifeline phone, but after awhile u get used to it and get used as a woman going with-out the girly luxuries,...personally i can tell u "there are no jobs out there" i was one of the 99'ers and they never did extend the unemployment, so basically ive had no income for close to 9 months but im managing and doing the best that i can, one thing im great-ful for is i have a Family that one they can they help me!!! and for that im greatful....I also like to share my resources and help others anyway i can, if its in my power, while on this site, i have made some great friends and we all try and help each other....I also ways also push craigslist for most basic needs, there are really good people out there that will help u!!! so dont feel ashamed to post and ask for what u need, the catagories would be, general, barter, housing, childcare, volunteer, from clothes, childcare needs, housing, computers, cars , i have always used craigslist and have been sucessful, and have always recommended the site to others that also found luck!!! as for not having cable if u have a PC U CAN WATCH MOST PROGRAMS, on HULU TV, YOUTUBE, CLASSIC CINEMA ON LINE, CRACKLE TV, THESE OFFER MOVIES AND TV SHOWS, OR JUST YTPE IN BROWSER FREE INTERNET TV AND MOVIES TO WATCH....THIS IS A GREAT OPTION FOR THOSE OF US THAT DONT HAVE CABLE!!! AND PLEASE ANYONE THATS ON UNEMPLOYMENT PLEASE GO AND APPLY FOR FOODSTAMPS AND CHECK OUT WHAT OTHER RESOURCES YR ENTITLED TO DONT WAIT, SAME APPLIES FOR THOSE THAT HAVE NO RESOURCES AT ALL OR HAVE RUN OUT OF OPTIONS......

   Hello,  my name is Jake, I was hit by a car while walking across the street in Homosassa Florida in March of 2003 I suffered massive brain damage and was permanently paralyzed from the waist down.Once my wife found out that I was permanently disabled, She left me in the hospital and sold everything that we owned and I have not seen her since!! Because Florida being a no fault State I was unable to sue his insurance company for anything and the gentleman did not even receive a traffic ticket!! Had it not been for my younger sister and her husband as well as my mother who is 74 yrs. Old I would have committed suicide, I thank God for them each and everyday.  I have been on disability since 2004 and as of right now I only receive $729.00 a month SSD is taking out $60.00a month for an over payment that they said that I received. They claim that I was living in Florida and was drawing SSI from New York State. I faxed them proof of where I lived in New York and also faxed them doctors statements. I also talked to my social worker at DSS in New York and she can prove that I lived in New York during the time I was receiving the SSI but, they still keep deducting the money from my monthly check.SSD also deducts $100.00 a month for back child support witch brings my total monthly income to $569.00 per month to try to live on. I have to pay for my rent of $385.00 plus utilities witch vary around $250.00 per month. I also have to pay for my own food and water plus doctors co-pays so as you can tell, I am falling way behind and.   Social Services here in Florida say that I am not eligible for any help except $15.00 a month in Food Stamps, Yes that is fifteen dollars per month I really believe that I am not being treated fairly as to the eligibility and the amount of Food stamps, I don’t even qualify for full Medicaid or cash assistance.

Please, if any of you can help me in any way please contact me I truly need help!!

I was wanting to know if anyone knew if haveing a car payment will disqualify me from being able to get foodstamps. I have heard it does. Please if anyone has an answer for me please feel free to email me at steph76119@charter.net  Also I live in Texas if that makes a difference. I  am a family of 3 with one on the way and I will be on Materity leave for 6 weeks. I dont know how we are going to afford for me to go back to work if we dont get foodstamps. someone please give me some advice.

I am currently unemployed and have been looking for work for about 7 months. I was wondering if any knew where I can get assistance to pay my rent and bills. I have applied for foodstamps and have not heard back yet. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it. Goodluck to everyone needing help.
